Upholstery is not my friend

I speak of my dining chairs.
What an annoyance.

Here's what I have learned and need to share...
If you are going to try stapling some fabric into solid wood by hand, just skip it. It won't turn out like you need it to.
In my case, after sitting on the chairs for a little bit, staples started popping off showing the cushion. Ugh.

I have a rather expensive solution to this problem - air gun.
This means buying an air compressor and the gun attachment.

I was able to use Christmas as an excuse, and the air compressor is bought. However, knowing how horribly frugal I am, I am waiting for a gun to go on sale. I want a gun that shoots brad nails and staples...
Am I too picky with my tools?



I just want these chairs finished.
